FEMALE SERVICEMEMBER HOLDING CHILD NEAR FLAGS

Who We Are

Crisis Companion™ is a family-safety brand dedicated to giving families peace of mind, clarity, and protection. We create simple, reliable safety tools that keep essential information easy to find during emergencies.

Our purpose is rooted in love for families, respect for first responders, and a belief that preparedness saves lives.

Crisis Companion™ is NOT just for military families

Although Crisis Companion™ was born from the lived experience of a military family, our products are created for every household. Families of all backgrounds face medical emergencies, long drives, flat tires, and frightening moments when someone may be unable to speak for themselves.

These tools are designed for civilians, caregivers, grandparents, new drivers, special-needs families, and anyone who wants peace of mind on the road.

Crisis Companion™ is for every family, not just military families.

A SMALL FAMILY

Crisis Companion™ began on the road, during the everyday chaos that comes with raising kids while living a military life. As a Marine Corps veteran and now a mother, I have spent years driving long stretches of highway with my children strapped into their seats behind me. Flat tires, long drives between states, crossing unfamiliar areas with no family nearby, and moments where I was the only adult for miles.

Every time I buckled my kids in, I felt the same question tug at my chest;
“If something happened to me on this road, who would know who my babies are…
and who to call?”

Military families move often. We live far from relatives. We drive through states where no one knows our names, our medical needs, or our children. That fear, that vulnerability, never truly leaves.

I wanted something simple, something physical, something any first responder could grab in seconds that would tell them exactly who my children are and who they belong to.

That need became the seed for Crisis Companion™.

Not a trend. Not a business idea.
A protective instinct turned into a product that could protect other families too.

I knew there were identification tools out there, but most focused on one person. Phones break, batteries die, and labels help only one child. I needed something that prioritized my entire family at once.

Crisis Companion™ was created to fill that gap.

Why We Started

AMERICAN FLAG
SERVICEMEMBER HOMECOMING

Our Story

Crisis Companion™ was created because of a truth military families know well emergencies do not wait for convenience. They happen on highways, in new towns, during long solo drives, and in moments when we are stretched thin.

My husband serves in the Navy, and I served in the Marine Corps. Dual military life meant constant change, frequent moves, and raising children in places where we had no immediate support. When you are hours from the nearest family member, a simple car breakdown feels heavier. A medical scare feels isolating. And a long drive feels like a responsibility you carry alone.

During one long trip across state lines, I realized something disturbing;
If I lost consciousness in an accident, no one at the scene would know anything about my
children.
Not their names.
Not their medical needs.
Not our emergency contacts.
Not even their guardianship.

That moment changed everything.

I built the first emergency contact card for my own glovebox. Then I built more for my husband. Then for friends. Word spread. Mothers asked for them. Grandparents asked. Military families asked. Special-needs parents asked. First responders told me it filled a gap
they had been dealing with for years.

What started from a place of fear grew into a mission built on purpose, clarity, and love. Today, Crisis Companion™ exists so no parent ever has to wonder whether their children would be understood, identified, or protected in an emergency.

It is more than a product.
It is a promise.
One born from the roads we have traveled, the miles we have crossed, and the moments  that taught us how fragile safety can be.

"In 10+ years as a nurse, I’ve seen countless patients arrive without ID or next of kin info. Crisis Companion™ gives me peace of mind knowing I won’t be an unidentified patient and my loved ones will be notified if anything happens. These cards are high quality and include every pertinent detail I’d want First Responders or Good Samaritans to know to help and keep me safe. It’s clear they are made with passion and families first.”

Michelle E.

“I think this is wonderful! I wish I’d had this after my recent car crash—neither of us had our IDs, and after hitting my head I couldn’t remember vital details. This card truly would have been a lifesaver.”

Madison L.

“Finally, a practical emergency tool that’s bilingual and fits right in my glovebox. The attention‑to‑detail, made‑to‑order craftsmanship on 110 lb laminated cardstock is top‑notch.”

TikTok Shopper

“I love having this card in my glovebox! The 110 lb laminated cardstock and clear fields for allergies, medications, and emergency contacts are perfect. It’s compact, personalized, and gives me peace of mind for my kids’ safety. Some sections weren’t relevant to our family, but I appreciate having all the options available for others!”

Taylor P.

As a new driver starting college, if I was having an allergic reaction to a medication, doctors or first responders would know to look for what I am allergic to and then use the knowledge to reverse it. I think this card displays EVERYTHING needed. This is very useful and could help in so many different scenarios and ways—especially for new drivers like me."
